We, who are here to participate in laying deep and broad the foundation of this great commonwealth, will pass away, but our votes and efforts will live with the years to comewhen all the problems of our day shall be solved only to give place, perhaps, to others of deeper and graver import; we confidently hope and expect that the constitution will receive a hearty approval, and respectfully submit it to the consideration of an intelligent and patriotic people.
