Let all things seen and unseen
Their notes of gladness blend,
For CHRIST the LORD is risen,
Our Joy that hath no end. Amen.

E. V. HALL.

PSALM CXviii. 24. This is the day which the LORD hath made: we will rejoice and be glad in it.

I CORINTHIANS XV. 20. For now is CHRIST risen from the dead and become the first-fruits of them that slept. 21. For since by man came death, by man came also the resurrection of the dead.

22. For as in Adam all die, even so in CHRIST shall all be made alive.

PSALM CXviii. 24. This is the day which the LORD hath made: we will rejoice and be glad in it.

JESUS CHRIST is risen to-day,
Our triumphant holy day,
Who did once, upon the Cross,
Suffer to redeem our loss.

Alleluia!
Alleluia !

Alleluia !
Alleluia! Amen.

PSALM lxv. I. Thou, O GOD, art praised in Sion: and unto Thee shall the vow be performed in Jerusalem.

2. Thou that hearest the prayer, unto Thee shall all flesh come.

9. Thou visitest the earth, and blessest it: Thou makest it very plenteous.

10. Thou preparest their corn, for so Thou providest for the earth.

1. Thou, O GOD, art praised in Sion: and unto Thee shall the vow be performed in Jerusalem.

Come, ye thankful people, come,

Raise the song of Harvest-home;
All is safely gathered in,
Ere the winter storms begin;
GOD, our Maker, doth provide

For our wants to be supplied;

Come to God's own Temple, come;

Raise the song of Harvest-home. Amen.

When GOD of old came down from heaven,
In power and wrath He came ;
Before His feet the clouds were riven,
Half darkness and half flame :

But, when He came the second time,
He came in power and love;
Softer than gale at morning prime
Hovered His holy Dove.

The fires, that rushed on Sinai down
In sudden torrents dread,

Now gently light, a glorious crown,
On every sainted head.

And as on Israel's awe-struck ear
The voice exceeding loud,

The trump, that angels quake to hear,
Thrilled from the deep, dark cloud;

So when the Spirit of our GOD
Came down His flock to find,

A voice from heaven was heard abroad,
A rushing, mighty wind.

It fills the Church of GOD; It fills

The sinful world around;

Only in stubborn hearts and wills

No place for It is found.

Come LORD, come Wisdom, Love, and Power,

Open our ears to hear;

Let us not miss the accepted hour;

Save, LORD, by love or fear. Amen.

REVELATION V. 12. Worthy is the Lamb that was slain to receive power, and riches, and wisdom, and strength, and honour, and glory, and blessing.

xix. 1. Alleluia; Salvation, and glory, and honour, and power, unto the LORD our GOD.

7. Let us be glad and rejoice, and give honour to Him, (vii. 10.) saying, Salvation to our GOD which sitteth upon the throne, and unto the Lamb.

xvii. 14. And they that are with Him are called, and chosen, and faithful.

vii. 16. They shall hunger no more, neither thirst any more; neither shall the sun light on them, nor any heat.

17. For the Lamb which is in the midst of the throne shall feed them, and shall lead them unto living fountains of waters and GoD shall wipe away all tears from their eyes.

xix. 1. Alleluia; Salvation, and glory, and honour, and power, unto the LORD our God.

Amen.

I ST. JOHN iv. 7. Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of GOD; and every one that loveth is born of GOD, and knoweth GOD.

16. God is love; and he that dwelleth in love dwelleth in GOD, and GOD in him.

REVELATION i. 10. I heard a great voice, as of a trumpet,

II. Saying, I am Alpha and Omega, the first and the last.

12. And I turned to see the voice that spake with me. 17. And when I saw Him, I fell at His feet as dead. And He laid His right hand upon me, saying unto me, Fear not; I am the first and the last:

18. I am He that liveth, and was dead; and, behold, I am alive for evermore.

Alleluia! Hosanna in the highest. Amen.

ST. JOHN xi. 25. JESUS said, I am the resurrection and the life: He that believeth in Me, though he were dead, yet shall he live:

26. And whosoever liveth and believeth in Me shall never die.

I CORINTHIANS XV. 57. Thanks be to GOD, Who giveth us the victory through our LORD JESUS CHRIST. Amen.

PSALM XVI. II. (Bible Version.) Thou shalt shew me the path of life, in Thy presence is the fulness of joy: and at Thy right hand there is pleasure for evermore. lxxiii. 24. Thou shalt guide me with Thy counsel, and afterward receive me to glory.

PSALM CXXxvii. 1. By the waters of Babylon we sat down and wept, when we remembered thee, O Sion.

2. As for our harps, we hanged them up, upon the trees that are therein.

3. For they that led us away captive, required of us then a song and melody in our heaviness: sing us one of the songs of Sion.

4. How shall we sing the LORD's song, in a strange land?

7. Remember the children of Edom, O LORD, in the day of Jerusalem: how they said, Down with it, down with it, even to the ground.

8. O daughter of Babylon, wasted with misery, yea, happy shall he be that rewardeth thee as thou hast served us.

GENESIS XXXII. 24. And Jacob was left alone; and there wrestled a man with him until the breaking of the day.

26. And he said, Let me go, for the day breaketh. And he said, I will not let thee go, except Thou bless me.

Come, O Thou Traveller unknown,
Whom still I hold, but cannot see,
My company before is gone,

And I am left alone with Thee;
With Thee all night I mean to stay,
And wrestle till the break of day.

27. And He said unto him, What is thy name? And he said, Jacob.

28. And He said, thy name shall be called no more Jacob, but Israel: for as a prince hast thou power with GOD and with men, and hast prevailed.

In vain Thou strugglest to get free,
I never will unloose my hold;
Art Thou the Man that died for me?
The secret of Thy love unfold.
Wrestling, I will not let Thee go,

Till I Thy Name, Thy Nature know.

29. And Jacob asked Him, and said, Tell me, I pray Thee, Thy Name. And He said, Wherefore is it that thou dost ask after My Name? And He blessed him there.

'Tis Love! 'tis Love! Thou diedst for me!
I hear Thy whisper in my heart!
The morning breaks, the shadows flee!
Pure universal Love Thou art!

In vain I have not wept nor strove;
Thy Nature and Thy Name is Love.
