And while I hail Thy love divine,
O Spirit, make its comforts mine,-
The blessings JESU bought.
Thus, great and undivided Three,
May I for ever cleave to Ye!

J. C. BACH.

Gracious LORD GOD, rouse us to watch, that we be prepared, when Thy Son comes, with rejoicing to welcome Him; and Thee, with guileless spirit, to worship; through our Saviour, Thy beloved Son, Thine Anointed. Amen. J. C. BACH.

PSALM Xviii. I. I will love Thee, O LORD, my strength; the LORD is my strong rock, and my defence, my Saviour, my GOD, and my might, in Whom I will trust, my buckler, the horn also of my salvation, and my refuge.

2. I will call upon the LORD, Which is worthy to be praised; so shall I be safe from mine enemies.

3. The sorrows of death compassed me, and the overflowings of ungodliness made me afraid.

4. The pains of hell came about me; the snares of death overtook me.

5. In my trouble I will call upon the LORD, and com, plain unto my God.

6. So shall He hear my voice out of His Holy Temple; and my complaint shall come before Him, it shall enter eyen into His ears.

7. The earth trembled and quaked, the very foundations also of the hills shook, and were removed, because He was wroth.

13. The LORD also thundered out of heaven, and the Highest gave His thunder, hail-stones, and coals of fire, 16. He shall send down from on high to fetch me, and shall take me out of many waters.

21. Because I have kept the ways of the LORD, and have not forsaken my GOD.

[50. For this cause will I give thanks unto Thee, O LORD, among the Gentiles, and sing praises unto Thy Name.] J. CLARK

PSALM CXviii. 14. The LORD is my strength and my song, and is become my salvation.

15. The voice of joy and health is in the dwellings of the righteous: [the right hand of the LORD bringeth mighty things to pass.]

16. The right hand of the LORD hath the pre-eminence ; the right hand of the LORD bringeth mighty things to pass. [17. I shall not die, but live, and declare the works of the LORD.

18. The LORD hath chastened and corrected me; but He hath not given me over unto death.

19. Open me the gates of righteousness, that I may go into them, and give thanks unto the LORD.

20. This is the gate of the LORD, the righteous shall enter into it.

21. I will thank Thee for Thou hast heard me, and art become my salvation.

22. The

same stone which the builders refused is become the head-stone in the corner.]

23. This is the LORD's doing: and it is marvellous in our eyes.

24. This is the day which the LORD hath made; we will rejoice and be glad in it.

25. [Help me now, O LORD;] O LORD, send us now prosperity.

26. Blessed be He that cometh in the Name of the LORD; [we have wished you good luck, ye that are of the house of the LORD.

28. Thou art my GOD, and I will thank Thee; Thou art my GOD, and I will praise Thee.]

29. O give thanks unto the LORD, [for He is gracious, and His mercy endureth for ever.]

REVELATION Vii. 9. I beheld, and lo, a great multitude, which no man could number, of all nations and kindreds, and people, which stood before the Throne, clothed with white robes, and palms were in their hands.

10. And they cried with a loud voice, saying, Hallelujah ; Salvation to our GOD, Which sitteth on the Throne, and unto the Lamb.

13. And I heard a voice, saying, What are these which are arrayed in white robes? and whence came they?

14. These are they which came out of great tribulation, and have washed their robes, and made them white in the Blood of the Lamb.

15. Therefore are they before the Throne of GOD, and serve Him day and night in His temple.

II. And all the angels who stood round the Throne, and the elders, with the four beasts, fell down before the Throne, and worshipped GOD, saying, Hallelujah.

12. Blessing, and glory, and wisdom, and thanksgiving and honour, and power, and might, be unto our GOD for ever and ever. Amen. Hallelujah.
