This second edition has prefixed a general title for both works, attributing the first to Robert Parsons, he, notwithstanding this assertion, not being the author of the Satire, which in all probability was really written by William Cecil, Lord Burleigh. Dr. Bliss has collated the first copy of the Ghost with a MS. in Christchurch Library, marking all the variations of any importance on the margin. The second copy of the Ghost, on account of the omissions and errors of the press, was probably never issued, which will account for its escaping the notice of all bibliographers. 5020 L'Hermite (Tristan) Mariane, Tragédie Troyes, 1718 5021 Liaisons dangereuses, par M.
