PSALM II. I-3.

Solo, Bass.

HY do the nations so furiously rage together: and why do the people imagine a vain thing?

The kings of the earth rise up, and the rulers take counsel together against the Lord and against his anointed.

Chorus.-Let us break their bonds asunder, and cast away their yokes from us.

PSALM II. 4, 9.

E that dwelleth in heaven shall laugh them to scorn: the Lord shall have them in derision.

Thou shalt break them with a rod of iron; thou shalt dash them in pieces, like a potter's vessel.

ALLELUJAH, for the Lord God omnipotent reigneth.

INCE by man came death, by man came also the resurrection of the dead.

EHOLD, I shew you a mystery; we shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet: The trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.

For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality.

HEN shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory.

Duett. Alto and Bass.-O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory?

The sting of death is sin, and the strength of sin is the law.

Chorus. But thanks be to God, who giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.

ROMANS, VIII. 32-34.

F God be for us, who can be against us? Who shall lay any thing to the charge of God's elect? It is God that justifieth.

Who is he that condemneth? It is Christ that died, yea rather, that is risen again, who is at the right hand of God, who maketh intercession for us.

REVELATION, V. 12, 13.

Chorus.

WORTHY is the Lamb that was slain, and hath redeemed us to God by his blood, to receive power, and riches, and wisdom, and strength, and honour, and glory, and blessing. Blessing and honour, glory and power, be unto him that sitteth upon the throne, and unto the Lamb, for ever and ever. Amen.

PSALM XCIX. 5.

Four Voices.

Chorus.

MAGNIFY the Lord our God, and praise his name for evermore.

Solo, Alto.-The Lord is great in Sion, and high above all people. They shall give thanks unto thy name, which is great, wonderful, and holy.

Solo, Bass.-O love the Lord, all ye his saints, for he is great and God alone.

Trio, Alto, Tenor, and Bass.-Sing unto the Lord, and praise his name. O sing and praise his name; be telling of his salvation from day to day; declare his honour unto the heathen, and his wonders unto all people. Chorus. O magnify the Lord, &c.

PSALM CXIX. 77.

Five Voices.

Solo, Alto.

LET thy loving mercies come unto me that I may live, for thy law is my delight. The earth, O Lord, is full of thy mercy: O teach me thy statutes.

Verse, Five Voices.-Thou art my God, and I will thank thee; thou art my God, and I will praise thee.

Chorus. Be thou exalted, Lord, in thine own strength; so will we sing and praise thy mighty power.
