Which art in Heaven.
Hallowed be Thy Name.
Thy kingdom come.

Thy will be done in earth,

as it is in Heaven.

Give us this day our daily bread.

And forgive us our trespasses,

As we forgive them that trespass against us.

And lead us not into temptation ;
But deliver us from evil:

For Thine is the kingdom,
The power, and the glory,
For ever and ever.

Amen.

Six o'clock.

"When the even was come."

CHRIST EATETH THE PASSOVER.

ST. MATTH. Xxvi. 20; ST. MARK xiv. 17; ST. LUKE Xxii. 14, 16.

AND when the hour was come, He sat down, and the twelve Apostles with Him, and He said unto them,

With desire I have desired to eat this Passover with you before I suffer; for I say unto you, I will not any more eat thereof, until it be fulfilled in the kingdom of God.

Prayer.

ALMIGHTY Father, who hast given Thine only Son to die for our sins, and to rise again for our justification; Grant us so to put away the leaven of malice and wickedness, that we may alway serve Thee in pureness of living and truth, through the merits of the same Thy Son Jesus Christ our Lord; for He is the very Paschal Lamb which was offered for us, and hath taken away the sin of the world; who by His death hath destroyed death, and by His rising to life again, hath restored to us everlasting life. AMEN.

THEN cometh He to Simon Peter: and Peter saith unto Him, Lord, dost Thou wash my feet? Jesus answered, and said unto him,

What I do thou knowest not now, but thou shalt know hereafter.

Peter saith unto Him, Thou shalt never wash my feet. Jesus answered him,

If I wash thee not, thou hast no part with Me;

Simon Peter saith unto Him, Lord, not my feet only, but also my hands and my head!

Prayer.

O MOST merciful God, who according to the multitude of Thy mercies, dost so put away the sins of those who truly repent, that Thou rememberest them no more; Wash me, I pray Thee, in the blood of that immaculate Lamb, that was slain to take away the sins of the world; that whatsoever defilements my soul may have contracted in the midst of this miserable and naughty world, through the lusts of the flesh, or the wiles of Satan, being purged and done away, it may be presented pure and without spot before Thee; through the merit of Jesus Christ Thine only Son our Lord. AMEN.
