for a Union with that truly Divine Spi-
rit, by which we are actually Immor-
talized, S. 49. The Primitive Chri-
ftians fuppofe this diftinction of the Two
Souls in Man, as Fundamental, in their
Difputes with their Co-eval Hereticks,
§. 50. They alfo fuppofe the Reason-
able Soul it felf to be a Derivation
from Chrift, as the Aov, S. 51. Our
Saviour, as Chrift, was anointed in his
Human Nature, by the fulness of the
Divine Spirit. And, on that account,
as well as that of the Aoy, he gained a
Right of being ftyled the Son of God;

The Spirit abiding in us, is a Prero-
gative of the Gofpel. What is meant by
