thou hast humbled thyself before the Lord, when thou
heardest what I spoke against this place and against
the inhabitants thereof, that they should become a de-
solation and a curse, and hast rent thy clothes, and
wept before me; I also have heard thee, saith the
time, but at the end. it shall speak, and not lie: though
it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will
not tarry. Behold, his soul which is lifted up is not
upright in him : but the just shall live by his faith.
