Almighty God, who feeft that we have no power of ourselves to help ourfelves; Keep us both outwardly in our bodies, and inwardly (by the infpiration of thy HOLY SPIRIT,) in our fouls; that we may be defended from all adverfities which may happen to the body, and from all evil thoughts which may affault and hurt the foul, through JESUS CHRIST Our Lord. Amen.

O Almighty Lord, and Everlasting God, vouchfafe, we beseech thee, to

direct,

direct, fanctify (by thy HOLY SPIRIT) and govern both our hearts and bodies in the ways of thy laws, and in the works of thy commandments; that through thy most mighty protection, both here and ever, we may be preferved in body and foul, through our Lord and Saviour JESUS CHRIST. Amen.
