¡HIS Catalogue was to have appeared in October
laft, but its completion was rendered impoffible,

at that time, by the perfonal attendance rendered necessary on another matter connected with my bufinefs; which having been brought to an iffue, I have completed the Catalogue, and alfo appended thereto many fubfequent purchases, most of which I truft may be found interefting. I have only to add, that I believe no book in the accompanying fheets is over-defcribed, and that whenever any blemish has been seen in any of the works it is mentioned, and that all have been collated. On the moderation of the prices affixed to ordinary books-such books in fact as are appreciable through the medium of a catalogue-I need not, I think, make any comment, as they will best speak for themselves; but in the cafe of the books inferted in this lift that are in very fine condition, I would wish to remark that they should, if poffible, be inspected; in which case I think it will be apparent that the prices are as moderate as the first-named.
