8 And let them make me a fanctuary; that I may dwell among them.

9 According to all that I fhew thee, after the pattern of the tabernacle, and the pattern of all the inftruments thereof, even fo fhall ye make it.

10 And they fhall make an ark of fhit tim-wood: two cubits and a halt ball be the length thereof, and a cubit and a half the breadth thereof, and a cubit and a half the height thereof.

II And thou shalt overlay it with pure gold, within and without shalt thou overlay it, and halt make upon it a crown of gold

round about.

12 And thou shalt caft four rings of gold for it, and put them in the four corners thereof; and two rings ball be in the one side of it, and two rings in the other fide of it.

13 And thou shalt make ftaves of hittimwood, and overlay them with gold.

14 And thou shalt put the ftaves into the rings by the fides of the ark, that the ark may be borne with them.

15 The itaves fhall be in the rings of the ark: they shall not be taken from it. 16 And thou shalt put into the ark the teftimony which I shall give thee.

17 And thou shalt make a mercy-feat of pure gold: two cubits and a half ball be the length thereof, and a cubit and a half the breadth thereof.

18 And thou shalt make two cherubims of gold, of beaten work thalt thou make them, in the two ends of the mercy-feat.

19. And make one cherub on the one end, and the other cherub on the other end: even of the mercy-feat thall ye make the cheruDims on the two ends thereof.

The labernacle.

29 And thou halt make the dishes there of, and fpoons thereof, and covers thereof, and bowls thereof, to cover withal: of pure gold fhalt thou make them.

30 And thou thalt fet upon the table fhew. bread before me alway.

31 And thou shalt make a candlestick of pure gold: of beaten work fhall the candle. tick be made: his thaft, and his branches, his bowls, his knops, and his flowers, fhall be of the fame.

32 And fix branchés fhall come out of the fides of it; three branches of the candlestick out of the one fide, and three branches of the candlestick out of the other fide:

33 Three bowls made like unto almonds, with a knop and a flower in one branch; and three bowls made like almonds in the other branch, with a knop and a flower: fo in the fix branches that come out of the can. dlestick.

34 And in the candlestick all be four bowls made like unto almonds, with their knops and their flowers.

35 And there fhall be a kaop under two branches of the fame, and a knop under two branches of the fame, and a knop under two branches of the fame, according to the fix branches that proceed out of the candlestick.

35 Their knops and their branches thall be of the fame: all of it shall be one beaten work of pure gold.

37 And thou shalt make the feven lamps thereof: and they shall light the lamps there. of, that they may give light over against it.

38 And the tongs thereof, and the inuff. dishes thereof, fail be of pure gold.

39 Of a talent of pure gold hall he make it, with all thefe veifels."

40 And look that thou make them after their pattern, which was thewed thee in the mount.

CHA P. XXVI.

I The ten curtains of the tabernacle. 31 The weil for the ark.

20 And the cherubims thall ftretch forth their wings on high, covering the mercy-leat with their wings, and their faces, ball look Moreover, thou shalt make the tabernacle

one to another; toward the mercy-feat fhall the faces of the cherubims be.

21 And thou shalt put the mercy-feat above upon the ark; and in the ark thou thalt put abe tettimony that I shall give thee.

22 And there I will meet with thee, and 1 will commune with thee from above the mer. cy.feat, from between the two cherubims which are upon the ark of the teftimony, of all things which I will give thee in commandment unto the children of Ifrael.

23 Thou shalt alfo make a table of hittim-wood: two cubits shall be the length thereor, and a cubit the breadth thereof, end a cubit and a half the height thereof.

24 And thou shalt overlay it with pure gold, and make thereto a crown of gold round about. 25 And thou shalt make unto it a border of an hand-breath round about, and thou thalt make a golden crown to the border thereof round about.

26 And thou shal: make for it four rings of gold, and put the rings in the your cor. mers that are on the four feet thereof.

27 Over against the horder thail the rings be for places of the ftaves to hear the table. 18 And thou shalt make the faves of thit. im wood, and overlay them with gold, that the table may be borne with them."

4 And thou shalt make loops of blue up on the edge of the one curtain from the felvedge in the coupling; and likewife thalt thou make in the uttermoft edge of anober curtain, in the coupling of the fecond.

5 Fitty loops fhalt thou make in the one curtain, and fiity loops halt thou make in the edge of the curtain that is in the coup ling of the fecond; that the loops may take hold one of another.

6 And thou shalt make fifty taches of gold, and couple the curtains together with the taches: and it shall be one tabernacle.

7 And thou thalt make curtains of goats' hair, to be a covering upon the tabernacle : eleven curtains thalt thou make.

8 The length of one curtain fall be thirty cubits, and the breadth of one curtain four

Chap. xxvil.

And thou shalt couple five curtains by themselves, and fix curtains by themselves, and that double the fixth curtain in the fore-front of the tabernacle.

10 And thou shalt make fifty loops on the edge of the one curtain that is outmost in the coupling, and fitty loops in the edge of the curtain which coupleth the fecoad.

11 And thou shalt make niity taches of brafs, and put the taches into the loops, and couple the tent together, that it may be one.

12 And the remnant that remaineth of the curtains of the tent, the hall-curtain that remaineth, shall hang over the back-fide of the tabernacle.

13 And a cubit on the one fide, and a cubit on the other fide of that which remaineth in the length of the curtains of the tent, it shall hang over the fides of the tabernacle on this fide and on that fide, to cover it.

14 And thou shalt make a covering for the teat of rams' kins died red, and a covering above of badgers' skins.

15 And thou shalt make boards for the tabernacle of hittim-wood standing up.

16 Ten cubits shall be the length of a board, and a cubit and an half ball be the breadth of one board.

17 Two tenons frall there be in one board, fet in order one against another: thus thalt thou make for all the boards of the taber-* nacle.

18 And thor halt make the boards for the tabernacle, twenty boards on the fouth fide fouthward.

19 And thou shalt make forty fockers of fiver under the twenty boards; two fock. ets under one board for his two tenons, and two fockets under another board for his two tenons.

20 And for the fecond fide of the taben nacle on the north fide ibere shall be twenty boards:

21 And their forty fockets of filver; two fockets under one board, and two fockets

under another board.

22 And for the fides of the tabernacle weftward thoufhalt make fix boards.

23 And two boards shalt thou make for the corners of the tabernacle in the two fides. 24 And they shall be coupled together beneath, and they shall be coupled together above the head or it unto one ring: thus thall it be for them both; they shall be for the two corners.

25 And they shall be eight boards, and their fockets of filver, fixteen fockets; two fockets under one board, and two fockets under an

other board.

26 And thou shalt make bars of thittimwood; five for the boards of the one fide of the tabernacle,

27 And five bars for the boards of the other Gide or the tabernacle, and five bars for the boards of the fide of the tabernacle, for the two files westward.

18 And the middle bar in the midst of the boards thall reach from end to end.

29 And thou shalt overlay the boards with gold, and make their rings of gold for places for the bars: and fou thalt overlay the bars with gold.

The altar of burnt-fferings 30 And thou fhait rear up the tabernacle according to the tathion thereof which was fhewed thee in the mount.

31 And thou that, make a veil of blue, and purpie, and fearlet, and fine twined linen of cunning work with cherubims fhall it be made:

32 And thou shalt hang it spon four pillars of hittim-wood overlaid with gold their hooks ball be of gold, upon the tour fockets of filver.

33 And thou shalt hang up the veil under the taches, that thou mayeft bring in thither within the veil the ark of the testimony: and the veil thall divide unto you between the holy place and the most holy.

34 And thou shalt put the mercy-feat upon the ark of the testimony in the most holy place.

35 And thou shalt fet the table without the veil, and the candleftick over against the ta ble on the fide of the tabernacle toward the fouth and thou thalt put the table on the north fide.

36 And thou shalt make an hanging for the door of the tent, of blue, and purple, and fcarlet, and fine twined linen, wrought with needle-work.

37 And thou that make for the hanging five pillars of thittim-wood, and overlay them with gold, and their hooks all be of gold: and thou shalt caft five fockets of brafs for them.

CHA P. XXVII.

The altar of burnt-offering, with the wef. fels. The court of the tabernacle. 20 The oil for the lamp.

AND thou shalt make an altar of shittim

wood, five cubits long, and five cubits broad; the altar thall be four-fquare: and the height thereof shall be three cubits.

2 And thou shalt make the horns of it upon the four corners thereof: his horns thall be of the fame: and thou shalt overlay it with brais.

3 And thou shalt make his pans to receive his athes, and his thovels, and his balons, and his flesh- hooks, and his fire-pans: ali the veifels thereof thou shalt make f brass.

4 And thou shalt make for it a grate of net-work of brats; and upon the net thatt thou make four brafen rings in the four corners thereof.

5. And thou shalt put it under the compaís of the altar beneath, that the net may be even to the midst of the altar.

6 And thou shalt make itaves tor the altar, ftaves of thittim-wood, and overlay them with brass.

And the saves thall be put into the rings, and the flaves fhall be upon the two fides" of the altar, to bear it.

8 Hollow with boards thalt thou make it: as it was thewed thee in the mount, to fhall they make it.

9And thou thalt make the court of the tabernacle for the fouth fide fouthwird there fhall be hangings for the court of fine twined linen of an hundred cubits long, tor one fide:

10 And the twenty pillars thereof and their twenty fockets ball be of brafs; the hooks of the pillars and their fillets balibe of fiver.

11 And likewife for the north fide in length, there bu!! be hangings of an hundred cubis

12 And for the breadth of the court on the weft fide bali be hangings of fifty cubits their pillars ten, and their fockets ten. 13 And the breadth of the court on the eaft fide eastward shall be fifty cubits.

14 The hangings of one fide of the gate fhall be fifteen cubits: their pillars three, and their fockets three.

15 And on the other fide fall be hang. ings fifteen cubits: their pillars three, and their fockets three.

16 And for the gate of the court ball be an hanging of twenty cubits, of blue, and purple, and fcarlet, and fine twined linen, wrought with needle-work: and their pillars hall be four, and their fockets four.

17 All the pillars round about the court fball be filleted with filver; their hooks/ball be of Giver, and their fockets of brass.

18 The length of the court shall be an hundred cubits, and the breadth fiity every where, and the height five cubits, of fine twined linen, and their fockets of brass.

19 All the veffels of the tabernacle in all the service thereof, and all the pins thereof, and all the pins of the court, fhall be of brafs.

10 And thou shalt command the children of Ifrael, that they bring thee pure oil-olive beaten for the light, to caufe the lamp to burn always.

21 In the tabernacle of the congregation without the veil, which is before the teftimony, Aaron and his fons fhall order it from evening to morning before the LORD: it ball be a ftatute for ever unto their generations on the behalf of the children of Ifrael. CHA P. XXVIII.

4 And these are the garments which they fhall make; a breaft-plate, and an ephod, and a robe, and a broidered coat, a nitre, and a girdle and they thall make holy gar. ments for Aaron thy brother, and his fons, that he may minister unto me in the priest's office.

And they fhall take gold, and blue, and purple, and fcarlet, and fine linen.

6And they hall make the ephod of gold, of blue, and of purple, of scarlet, and fine twined linen, with cunning work.

7 It fhall have the two thoulder-pieces thereot joined at the two edges thereof; and it shall be joined together.

8 And the curious girdle of the ephod, which is upon it, shall be of the fame, according to the work thereof; even of gold, of blue, and purple, and fcarlet, and fine twined linen.

13 And thou shalt make ouches of gold; 14 And two chains of pure gold at the ends; of wreathen work thalt thou make them, and faften the wreathen chains to the ouches.

15 And thou shalt make the breast-plate of judgment with cunning work; after the work of the ephod thou shalt make it; of gold, of blue, and of purple, and of fcarlet, and of fine twined lineu, thalt thou make it.

16 Four-fquare it thall be, being doubled; a span all be the length thereof, and a span all be the breadth thereof.

17 And thou shalt fet in it fettings of ftones, even four rows of tones: the firji rov fall be a fardius, a topaz, and a carbuncle: this fall be the first row.

18 And the fecond row shall be an eme. rald, a sapphire, and a diamond.

19 And the third row a ligure, an agate, and an amethy@t.

20 And the fourth row a beryl, and an onyx, and a jafper: they shall be fet in gold in their enclosings.

27 And two other rings or gold thou shalt make, and fhalt put them on the two fides of the ephod underneath, towards the fort part thereof, over against the other coupling thereof, above the curious girdle of the ephod.

28 And they fhall bind the breaft-plate by the rings thereof unto the rings of the ephod with a lace of blue, that it may be above the curious girdle of the ephod, and that the breaft-plate be not loofed from the ephod.

29 And Aaron fhall bear the names of the

31And thou shalt make the robe of the eptod all of blue.

32 And there shall be an hole in the top of it, in the midft thereof: it shall have a binding or woven work round about the hole of it, as it were the hole of an habergeon, that it be not rent.

33 And beneath upon the hem of it thou fhalt make pomegranates of blue, and of purple, and of fcarlet, round about the hem thereof; and bells of gold between them round about:

34 A golden bell and a pomegranate, a golden bell and a pomegranate, upon the hem of the robe round about.

35 And it fhall be upon Aaron to minifter: and his found thall be heard when he goeth in unto the holy place before the LORD, and when he cometh out, that he die not.

36And thou shalt make a plate of pure gold, and grave upon it, like the engravings of a fignet, HOLINESS TO THE LORD.

37 And thou shalt put it on a blue lace, that it may be upon the mitre; upon the fore-front of the mitre it shall be.

3 And thou shalt put them into one basket, and bring them in the basket, with the bul lock and the two rams.

38 And it fhall be upon Aaron's forehead, that Aaron may bear the iniquity of the holy things, which the children of lfrael thall hallow in all their holy gifts; and it thall be always upon his forehead, that they may be accepted before the LORD.

4 And Aaron and Lis fons thou shalt bring unto the door of the tabernacle of the congre gation, and thalt wath them with water.

5 And thou shalt take the garments, and fut upon Aaron the coat, and the robe of the ephod, and the ephod, and the breaft-plate, and gird him with the curious girdle of the ephod:

39 And thou shalt embroider the coat of fine linen, and thou shalt make the mitre of fine linen, and thou shalt make the girdle of needle-work.

40 And for Aaron's fons thou fhalt make coats, and thou shalt make for them girdies, and bonnets fhalt thou make for them, for glory and for beauty.

6 And thou shalt put the mitre upon his head, and put the holy crown upon the mitre. 7 Then shalt thou take the anointing oil, and pour it upon his head, and anoint him. 8 And thou shalt bring his fons, and put coats upon them.

9 And thou shalt gird them with girdles, Aaron and his fons, and put the bonnets on them: and the prieft's office thall be their's for a perpetual ftatute: and thou shalt con fecrate Aaron and his fons.

41 And thou thalt put them upon Aaron thy brother, and his fons with him; and fhalt

anoint them, and confecrate them, and fanc tify them, that they ma, minifter unto me in

the priest's office.

25 And thou fhalt receive them of their hands, and burn them upon the altar for a burnt-offering, for a fweet favour before the LORD: it is an offering made by fire unto the LORD.

20 And thou fhalt take the breast of the ram of Aaron's confecration, and wave it for a wave-offering before the LORD: and it thall be thy part.

27 And thou shalt fanctify the breaft of the wave-offering, and the thoulder of the heaveoffering, which is waved,and which is heaved up, of the ram of the confecration, even of that which is for Aaron, and of that which is for his sons.

28 And it fhall be Aaron's and his fons by a ftatute for ever from the children of Ifrael: for it is an heave-offering: and it thall be an

41 And the other lamb thou shalt offer at even, and shalt do thereto according to the meat-offering of the morning, and according to the drink-offering thereof, for a sweet fa vour, an offering made by fire unto the LORD. 42 This all be a continual burnt-offering throughout your generations at the door of the tabernacle of the congregation before the LORD: where I will meet you, to speak there unto thee.

43 And there I will meet with the children of israel, and the tabernacle thall be fanctified by my glory.

44 And I will fanctify the tabernacle of the congregation, and the altar: I will fanctity alio both Aaron, and his fons, to minifter to me in the priest's office.

45 And I will dwell among the children of Ifrael, and will be their God.

36 And thou that offer every day a bullock for a fin-offering for atonement: and thou thalt cleanse the altar, when thou hast made an atonement for it, and thou shalt anoint it, to fanctify it.

37 Seven days thou shalt make an atonement for the altar, and fan&tify it, and it Shall be an altar mot holy: whatfoever toucheth the altar fhall be holy.

38 Now this is that which thou shalt of fer upon the altar; two lambs of the first year day by day continually.

39 The one lamb thou shalt offer in the morning; and the other lamb thou shalt offer

6 And thou shalt put it before the veil that is by the ark of the teftimony, before the mercy-feat that is over the teftimony, where 1 will meet with thee.

7 And Aaron fhall burn thereon fweet in. cenfe every morning: when he dreffeth the lamps, he thall burn incente upon it.

8 And when Aaron lighteth the lamps at even, he shall burn incense upon it, a per. petual incente before the LORD throughout your generations.

9 Ye fall offer no ftrange incenfe there on, nor burnt-facrifice, nor meat-offering; neither fhall ye pour drink-offering thereon.

10 And Aaron hall make an atonement upon the horns of it once in a year with the blood of the in-offering of atonements: once in the year thall he make atonement upon it throughout your generations: it is most holy unto the LORD.

11And the LORD fpake unto Mofes, faying, 12 When thou takett the fum of the chil dren of Ifrael atter their number, then thall they give every man a ransom for his foul
