THERE is no more distressing condition
than that of those who through the fear of death are all their lifetime kept in bondage. Yet such is the condition of multitudes, and, in many instances, of those who have passed from death unto life and are the true disciples of Christ.
But thus it was never intended to be, and, as the following pages will show, need be with none who believe on the name of the Son of God. Provision has been made for its being different with them. Christ came into the world to deliver from bondage and fear. The inspired testimony with regard to Him accordingly is, that "forasmuch as the children are partakers of flesh
