Know ye not that the unrighteous shall 1 Cor. vi. not inherit the kingdom of God.

And such were some of you: but ye are washed, but ye are sanctified, but ye are justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and by the Spirit of our God,

But we all, with open face beholding as in 2 Cor. iii a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord.

Now He that hath wrought us for the self- 2 Cor. v. 5. same thing is God, who also hath given unto us the earnest of the Spirit.

In whom ye also trusted, after that ye Eph. i. 13.

the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus
hath made me free from the law of sin and
death.

For if ye live after the flesh, ye shall die :

but if ye through the Spirit do mortify the

For as many as are led by the Spirit of Rom. viii. to Sonship God, they are the sons of God. For ye have not recived the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father. The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God.

Helps human infirmity.

Inspires a good hope.

And because ye are sons, God hath sent Gal. iv. 6. forth the Spirit of His Son into your hearts, crying, Abba, Father.

Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered. And He that searcheth the hearts knoweth what is the mind of the Spirit, because He maketh intercession for the saints according to the will of God.

For we through the Spirit wait for the hope of righteousness by faith.

Gal. v. 5.

And hope maketh not ashamed; because Rom. v.5. the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us.

Now the God of hope fill you with all joy
and peace in believing, that ye may abound
in hope, through the power of the Holy Ghost.

O God, Thou art my God: early will I seek Thee. Ps. lxiii. 1. As the hart panteth after the water brooks, so panteth my soul after Thee, O God. My soul thirsteth for God, for the living God: when shall I come and appear before God? Ps. xlii. 1, 2. O satisfy us early with Thy mercy; that we may rejoice and be glad all our days. Ps. xc. 14. Arise for our help, and redeem us for Thy mercies' sake. Ps. xliv. 26.

The elect| of God.

The gifts of the Spirit.

Minister.

Elect according to the foreknowledge of 1 Pet. i. 3. God the Father, through sanctification of the Spirit, unto obedience and sprinkling of the blood of Jesus Christ: Grace unto you, and peace, be multiplied.

1-11.

Now concerning spiritual gifts, brethren, I 1 Cor. xii. would not have you ignorant. Wherefore I give you to understand, that no man speaking by the Spirit of God calleth Jesus accursed: and that no man can say that Jesus is the Lord, but by the Holy Ghost. Now there

are diversities of gifts, but the same Spirit.
But the manifestation of the Spirit is given
to every man to profit withal. For to one is
given by the Spirit the word of wisdom; to
another the word of knowledge by the same
Spirit; To another faith by the same Spirit;
to another the gifts of healing by the same
Spirit; To another the working of miracles; to
another prophecy; to another discerning of
spirits; to another divers kinds of tongues;
to another the interpretation of tongues: But
all these worketh that one and the selfsame
Spirit, dividing to every man severally as He
will.

For God hath not given us the spirit of 2 Tim. i.7.
fear; but of power, and of love, and of a
sound mind.

23.

The fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, Gal. v. 22, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.

For the fruit of the Spirit is in all goodness and righteousness and truth.

And where the Spirit of the Lord is, there

is liberty.

Hope and unity.

But ye have an unction from the Holy One, 1 John ii. and ye know all things.

There is one body, and one Spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling. For by one Spirit are we all baptized into one body, whether we be Jews or Gentiles,
