Subject: THE OMNIPOTENCE OF GOD.

God is the

Minister.

The Lord appeared to Abram, and said Almighty. unto him, I am the Almighty God.

Power dis

God hath spoken once; twice have I heard
this; that power belongeth unto God.
Behold, I am the Lord, the God of all flesh:
is there anything too hard for Me?

Ah Lord God! behold, Thou hast made played in the heaven and the earth by Thy great power Creation. and stretched out arm, and there is nothing too hard for Thee:

Lift up your eyes on high, and behold who│| Is. xl. hath created these things, that bringeth out their host by number: He calleth them all by names by the greatness of His might, for that He is strong in power; not one faileth.

The Lord reigneth, He is clothed with majesty; the Lord is clothed with strength, wherewith He hath girded Himself: the world also is stablished, that it cannot be moved.

Ps.

xciii. 1.

Job

He is wise in heart, and mighty in
strength: Which removeth the mountains, ix. 4-10
and they know not: which overturneth them
in His anger.
Which shaketh the earth out
of her place, and the pillars thereof tremble.
Which commandeth the sun, and it riseth
not; and sealeth up the stars. Which alone
spreadeth out the heavens, and treadeth upon
the waves of the sea. Which doeth great
things past finding out; yea, and wonders
without number.

He ruleth by His power for ever.
The bows of mighty men are broken, and
they that stumbled are girded with strength.
The Lord killeth and maketh alive: He bring-
eth down to the grave, and bringeth up.
The Lord maketh poor, and maketh rich: He
bringeth low, and lifteth up. He will keep
the feet of His saints, and the wicked shall
be silent in darkness; for by strength shall
no man prevail.

righteousness, mighty to save.

The Lord thy God in the midst of thee is
mighty; He will save, He will rejoice over
thee with joy; He will rest in His love, He
will joy over thee with singing.

For there is no restraint to the Lord to save by many or by few.

He is able also to save them to the uttermost that come unto God by Him.

And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of My hand. My Father, which gave them Me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of My Father's hand.
