E recommend to thee, O Lord, the foul of this thy fervant N. and befeech thee, O Lord Jefus Christ Redeemer of the world, that as in mercy to him [or her] thou becameft man; fo now thou wouldft vouchsafe to admit him [or her] into the number of the bleffed. Remember, O Lord, he [or the] is thy creature, not made by ftrange Gods, but by thee, the only true and living God: for there is no other God but thee; none that can work thy wonders.
