There was none found like him in obferving the law of the Moft High. Therefore by oath did the Lord make him great among his people. He gave him the bleffing of all nations, and established his covenant on his head. He acknowledged him by his bleffings: he ftored up his mercy for him and he found fayour in the eyes of the Lord. Chap. xlv. He raised him in the fight of kings; and gave him a crown of glory. He made with him an eternal covenant; and beftowed on him the high priesthood, and rendered him happy in glory; that he might perform the priestly office, fing praises to the name of God, and offer him coftly incenfe for an odour of fweetness.
