AT that time: The Pharifees came to Jefus: And

one of them, a doctor of the law, put a question to him, tempting him: Mafter, which is the great commandment of the law? Anth. The angel Gabriel was fent by God to a virgin espoused to a man of the house of David, whose name was Jofeph, and the name of the virgin was Mary. Anth. When Mary the mother of Jefus was efpoufed to Jofeph, before they had been together, fhe was found to be with child by the Holy Ghost.
