The Holy Ghoft who spake by Isaiah teftimoni- the Prophet, is worshipped by the Angels of me de Pc. God, as is moft evident by comparing fa. itate Spiri. 6.3.9. with its 28.25. 26. The whole tus San&ti Church of God is exhorted to worship the invenies. Holy Ghoft as the Great God as Jehovah,as our Maker;to bow down and kneel before him, that is,to give him divine worship both inward and outward, because he is our God, as appears by comparing, Pfa. 95. .6.7. with Heb.3.7 89. The Apoftle gives divine Honour to the Holy Choft when he appeals to him as to the fearcher of hearts, Rom. 9.1. and the Holy Ghoft who speaks to the Churches, joynes with the fon of God (who fpeaks to them allo) in tearching of the heart and reines, Revel. 2 17.18.23. and all the Churches are commanded to hearken to both as unto God blessed for ever. Our foules and bodies are faid to be the Temples of God because they are the Temples of the Holy Ghoft; and therefore we are commanded to worship and glorify the holyGhost with our fouls and bodies; for the spirit doth dwell in his Temple that he may be worshiped in his Temple. The Temple is a profane place, if there be no worship there, and it is, muft be, pure, holy and fpirituall worship, and facrifice, such as the holy spirit delights in; elfe the Temple will be defiled, deftroyed.
