ALMIGHTY and everlasting God, in whom we live, and move, and have our Being, and whofe Mercy is over all thy Works; we thy needy Creatures, in a thankful Senfe of thy good Providence over us, do render Thee our humbleft Praises for thy Prefervation of us from the Beginning of our Lives to this Time. Bleffed be thy holy Name for the continual Protection of thy Hand, by which we have been defended amidst the Changes and Miseries of this mortal Life, and delivered from innumerable Dangers, and particularly from any evil Accident of the Night paft. To thy watch*When Dif- ful Providence we wholly owe turbances of any it, that no Disturbance hath come nigh us, or our Dwelling; but that we have enjoyed quiet and refreshing Sleep, and are brought in Safety to the Beginning of this Day.
