Almighty Father, God of Love !

The seasons roll at Thy command,
Oceans below and stars above

Proclaim the wonders of Thy hand.
Winter returns with snow and cold,

Spring yields the green and blossom'd thorn,
Summer displays her realms of gold,

And Autumn stores the fruits and corn.
Over the earth's extensive space
Thy bounteous gifts are richly spread.
May all who reap, who glean, and store,

nited praises sing to Thee;
Much Thou hast given, Thou wilt give more,

If fervent our devotions be.

Isaiah ix. 3. They joy before Thee, according to the joy in harvest, and as men rejoice when they divide the spoil.

God of harvest, God of power,

God of justice, mercy, grace,
Guardian of the passing hour,

Thou shedd'st Thy blessing on our race.
Crops of plenty to the scythe,

To the spade and sickle yield,
They who till the soil now thrive;

Golden produce crown the field.
Grateful hearts and thankful minds

Make the hills and valleys ring;
Creatures all of varying kinds,

Should praise God for everything.
