A few more years shall roll,
A few more seasons come;
And we shall be with those that rest
Asleep within the tomb:

Then, O my LORD, prepare
My soul for that great day;
O wash me in Thy precious Blood,
And take my sins away.

A few more storms shall beat
On this wild rocky shore;
And we shall be where tempests cease,
And surges swell no more:
Then, O my LORD, prepare
My soul for that calm day;
O wash me in Thy precious Blood,
And take my sins away.

A few more struggles here,
A few more partings o'er,
A few more toils, a few more tears,
And we shall weep no more:
Then, O my LORD, prepare
My soul for that bright day;
O wash me in Thy precious Blood,
And take my sins away.

'Tis but a little while,

And He shall come again,

Who died that we might live, Who lives
That we with Him may reign:

Then, O my LORD, prepare
My soul for that glad day;

O wash me in Thy precious Blood,

And take my sins away. Amen.

Before the heavens were spread abroad,
From everlasting was the Word;

With GOD He was, the Word was GOD,
And must divinely be adored.

ST. JOHN i. 14. And we beheld His glory, as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth.

Chanted of with one accord;
Whom the voices of the Prophets
Promised in their faithful word;
Now He shines, the long expected;
Let creation praise its LORD,

Evermore and evermore.

CHRIST, to Thee, with God the Father,
And, O Holy Ghost, to Thee,
Hymn, and chant, and high thanksgiving,
And unwearied praises be,

Honour, glory, and dominion,

And eternal victory,

Evermore and evermore.

Amen.

Here vouchsafe to all Thy servants
What they ask of Thee to gain,
And to Paradise translated,

There in rest with Thee to reign.

Glory to our GOD, and honour;
Highest He above all heights:
Father, Son, and Holy Spirit,
One in praise, and One in might,
Might and praise enduring ever,

In the changeless worlds of light. Amen.

1. Ye holy angels bright,

Who wait at GOD's right hand,
Or through the realms of light
Fly at your LORD'S command,
Assist our song,

Or else the theme
Too high doth seem
For mortal tongue.

2. Ye blessèd souls at rest,
Who ran this earthly race,
And now, from sin released,
Behold the Saviour's Face,
His praises sound,
As in His light
With sweet delight
Ye do abound.

3. Ye saints, who toil below,
Adore your heavenly King,
And onward as ye go
Some joyful anthem sing;
Take what He gives
And praise Him still,
Through good and ill,
Who ever lives!

4. My soul, bear thou thy part,
Triumph in GOD above,

And with a well-tuned heart
Sing thou the songs of love!
Let all thy days
Till life shall end,
Whate'er He send,

Be filled with praise.

Amen
