O Holy Ghost, into our minds

Send down Thy Heavenly light,
Kindle our hearts with fervent zeal

To serve God day and night.
Thou art the very Comforter,

In grief and all distress;
The heavenly gift of God most high,

No tongue can it express.
Such measures of Thy powerful grace

Grant to us, LORD, we pray,
That Thou may'st be our Comforter
At the last awful day.

Amen.

All people that on earth do dwell,

Sing to the LORD with cheerful voice;
Him serve with fear His praise forth tell,

Come ye before Him and rejoice. PSALM c. 1. O be joyful in the LORD, all ye lands; serve the LORD with gladness, and come before His presence with a song.

His mercy is for ever sure ;
His truth at all times firmly stood,

And shall from age to age endure.
Glory be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy
Ghost; as it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall
be, world without end. Amen.

Praise Him all creatures here below;
Praise Him above, Angelic Host,
