The papers on the various subjects were prepared by the undermentioned Gentlemen: I. The scholarship examinations of all the Colleges and Schools in Bengal, were held upon the dates and at the hours specified below: The examinations were held daily from 10 A. M. to 13 P. M., and from 2 to 5 P. M. precisely, at which hours all answers to the morning and afternoon papers, respectively, were given in. II. The following is the manner in which the examinations are conducted:1. Sets of questions on the various branches of study in the senior department, are prepared by the examiners selected by the Council of Education. The junior scholarship questions are prepared and the answers examined by the officers of the Colleges for their own Institutions, in strict accordance with the existing standards and rules on the subject. The same duty is performed by the Local Committees for the respective Zillah Schools over which they preside. |
