Southern District of New-York, ss. BE IT REMEMBERED, that on the twenty-sixth day of January, A. D. 1825,in the forty-ninth year of the Independence of the United States of America, William A. Mercein of the said district, hath deposited in this office the title of a Book, the right whereof he claims as Proprietor, in the words following, to wit:

"The power of Faith: exemplified in the Life and Writings of "the late Mrs. Isabella Graham, of New-York. By Divie Bethune. "To which is added, Extracts from a number of devotional Letters, "written a short time previous to her Death. The fear of the Lord is "the instruction of Wisdom; and before honour is humility. The "Lord will destroy the house of the proud: but he will establish "the border of the widow." Prov. xv. 25. 33.

In conformity to the Act of Congress of the United States, "entitled "An Act for the encouragement of Learning, by securing the copies of Maps, Charts, and Books, to the authors and proprietors of such copies, during the time therein mentioned." And also to an Act, entitled "An Act, supplementary to an Act, entitled an Act for the encouragement of Learning, by securing the copies of Maps, Charts, and Books to the authors and proprietors of such copies, during the times therein mentioned, and extending the benefits thereof to the arts of designing, engraving, and etching historical and other prints."
