Thefe Places of Scripture being distinctly read and confidered by the Sick Man, let him then moft humbly make his Confeffion; and with the greatest earnestness beg Pardon for all his Sins. Which he may do in the following Forms.

great Mercy haft promised Forgivenefs of Sins, to all them that with hearty Repentance, and true Faith turn unto Thee Have Mercy upon me; Pardon and deliver me from all my Sins ; confirm and strengthen me in all Goodness; and bring me to everlafting Life, through Jefus Chrift our Lord. Amen.

Death of a Sinner, but that he fhould rather turn from his Sin, and be faved; mercifully forgive me my Trefpafles, receive and comfort me, who am grieved and wearied, with the Burthen of my Sins.

Thy Property is always to have Mercy: To thee only it appertaineth to forgive Sins. Spare me therefore, Good Lord, fpare me whom thou haft redeemed; enter not into Judgment with thy Servant, who-am vile Earth, and a miferable Sinner; but fo turn thine Anger from me, who meekly acknowledge my Vilenefs, and truly repent me of my Faults, and fo inake hafte to help me in this World, that I may ever live with thee in the World to come, through Jefus Chrift our Lord. Amen.
