created heaven, and thre earth, and the sea, and the things that are therein, that there should be time no longer.
But that the mystery of God should be finished, as he hath declared to his servants the prophets.
II. I saw four angels standing on the four corners of the earth, holding the four winds of the earth, that the wind should not blow on the earth, nor on the sea, nor on any tree,
And I saw another angel ascending from the east, having the seal of the living God: and he cried with a loud voice to the four angels, to whom it was given to hurt the earth and the sea,
Saying, Hurt not the earth, neither the sea, nor the trees, till we liave sealed the servants of our God in their foreheads.
III. And I saw another angel fly in the midst of heayen, having the everlasting Gospel to preach unto them that dwell on the earth, and to every nation, and kino dred, and tongue, and people,
Saying, with a loud voice, Fear God and give glory to him, for the hour of his judgment is come: and worship him that made heaven and earth, and the sea, and the fountains of waters.
IV. And I heard a voice from heaven saying unto me, Write, blessed are the dead which die in the Lord from henceforth: yea, saith the Spirit, Blessed are they, for they rest from their labours, and their works do follow them.
V. And I beheld—and lo there was a great earthquake, and the sun became black as sackcloth of hair, and the moon became as blood; and the stars of heaven fell unto the earth, even as a fig-tree casteth her untimely figs, when she is shaken of a mighty wind. And the heavens departed as a scroll when it is rolled
together, and every mountain and island were moved out of their place.
And the kings of the earth and the great men, and the rich men, and the chief captains, and the mighty men, and every bondman, and every freeman, hid them. selves in the dens and in the rocks of the mountains :
And said to the mountains and rocks, Fall on us, and hide us from the face of him that sitteth on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb:
For the great day of his wrath is come, and who shall be able to stand.
VI. I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse: and he that sat on him was called faithful and true, and in righteousness doth he judge and make war.
His eyes were as a flame of fire, and on his head were many crowns; and he had a name written that no man knew but he himself.
And he was clothed in a vesture dipt in blood : and his name is called the WORD OF GOD.
And the armies which were in heaven followed him upon white horses, clothed in fine linen white and clean.
And out of his mouth goeth a sharp sword, that with it he should smite the nations: and he shall rule them with a rod of iron: and he treadeth the wine-press of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God.
And he hath on his vesture and on his thigh a name written, KING OF KINGS, AND LORD OF LORDS.
VII. I saw a great white throne, and him that sat on .it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away, and there was found no place for them.
And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God, and the books were, opened : and another book was opened, which is the book of lifeand the dead were judged out of those things which were written is the books, according to their works.
And the sea gave up the dead which were in it, and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them, and they were judged every man according to their works.
And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. * This is the second death.
VIII. And I saw a new heaven and a new earth; for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away,
and there was no more sea.
And I John saw the Holy City (New Jerusalem) coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.
And I heard a great voice out of heaven, saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and GOD himself shall be with them, and be their God.
And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes ; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain ; for the former things are passed away.
And he that sate upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new. And he said unto me, Write; for these words are true and faithful.
And he said unto me, It is done. I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end. I will give unto him that is athirst of the fountain of the water of life freely.
He that overcometh shall inherit all things, and I will be his God, and he shall be my son.
But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone, which is the second death.
IX. And I beheld, and lo a great multitudo, which no man could number, of all nations, and kindreds, and people, and tongues, stood before the Lamb, clothed with white robes, and palms in their hands.
And they cried with a loud voice, saying, Salvation to our God who sitteth upon the throne, and unto the Lamb.
And all the angels stood round about the throne, and about the elders *, and the four beasts, and fell before the throne on their faces and worshipped God,
Saying, Amen: blessing, and glory, and wisdom, and thanksgiving, and honour, and power, and might, be unto our God for ever and ever. Amen.
And one of the elders said unto me, What are these that are arrayed in white robes ?. and whence came they?
And I said unto him, Sir, thou knowesti And he said unto me, These are they which came out of great tribulation, and have washed their robes, and made them white in the blood of the Lamb:.
Therefore they are before the throne of God, and serve him night and day in the Temple; and he that. sitteth
the throne shall dwell amongst thena. They shall hunger no more, neither thirst any more, neither shall the sun light on them, nor any heat; for the Lamb which is in the midst of the throne shall feed them, and shall lead them unto living fountains of water:: and God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes.
X. And there were great voices in heaven, saying, The kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms of the LORD, and of his Christ, and he shall reign for ever and ever.
And the four and twenty elders,.which sat before God' on their seats, fell upon their faces and worshipped God, Saying, We give thee thanks, O LORD God Almighty, * See Sect, lülie
who art, and wast, and art to come: because thou hast taken unto thee thy great power, and hast reigned.
XI. I heard a great voice of much people in heaven, saying, Allelujah ; salvation, and glory, and honour, and power, unto the Lord our God:
For true and righteous are his judgments.-And again they said, Allelujah.
And the four and twenty elders and the four beasts fell down before the throne, and worshipped God, who sat on the throne, saying, Amen, Allelujah.
And a voice came out of the throne, saying, Praise God, all ye his servants, and ye that fear him both small
Aud I heard as it were the voice of a great multitude, and as the voice of many waters, and as the voice of mighty thunderings, saying, Allelujah; for the LORD God Omnipotent reignieih.
Let us be glad and rejoice, and give honour to him. for the marriage of the Lamb is come, and his wife hack made herself ready.
And to her was granted that she should be arrayed in fine linen, clean and white; for the fine linen is the righteousness of saints.
And an angel said unto me, Write, Blessed are they which are called to the marriage-supper of the Lamb. And he said unto me, These are the true sayings of God.
And I fell at his feet to worship him: and he said unto me, See thou do it not: I am thy fellow-servant, and of thy brethren that have the testimony of JESUS; worship God: for the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy.
XII. And the LORD God of the holy prophets sent his angel, to shew unto his servants the things which must shortly be done, and to say,
