LESSON IV.

MONDAY-Ex. iii. 14.-And God said unto Moses, I AM THAT I AM and he said, Thus shalt thou say unto the children of Israel, I AM hath sent me unto you.

TUESDAY.-Deut. iv. 15.-Take ye therefore good heed unto yourselves; for ye saw no manner of similitude on the day that the Lord spake unto you in Horeb out of the midst of the fire; WEDNESDAY.-Deut. vi. 4.-Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God is one Lord:

THURSDAY.-John iv. 24.-God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.

FRIDAY.-Jer. x. 10.-But the Lord is the true God, he is the living God, and an everlasting King: at his wrath the earth shall tremble, and the nations shall not be able to abide his indignation. SATURDAY.-Job xi. 7.-Canst thou by searching find out God? Canst thou find out the Almighty unto perfection?

SABBATH.-1 Tim. i. 17.-Now unto the King eternal, immortal, invisible, the only wise God, be honor and glory for ever and ever. Amen.

MONDAY.-Matt. xxviii. 19.-Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:

TUESDAY.-Luke iii. 22.-And the Holy Ghost descended in á bodily shape like a dove upon him, and a voice came from heaven, which said, Thou art my beloved Son: in thee I am well pleased. WEDNESDAY.-John xiv. 16.—And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for

ever; THURSDAY.-2 Cor. xiii. 14.-The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Ghost, be with you all. Amen.

FRIDAY.-Eph. ii. 18.-For through him we both have access by one Spirit unto the Father.

SATURDAY.-1 Pet. i. 2.-Elect according to the foreknowledge of God the Father, through sanctification of the Spirit, unto obedience and sprinkling of the blood of Jesus Christ: grace unto you, and peace, be multiplied.

The Counsel of God.

LESSON VI.

MONDAY.-Ps, xxxiii. 11.-The counsel of the Lord standeth forever, the thoughts of his heart to all generations.

TUESDAY.-Isa. xxviii. 29.-This also cometh forth from the Lord of hosts, which is wonderful in counsel, and excellent in working. WEDNESDAY.—Isa. xlvi. 10.-Declaring the end from the beginning, and from ancient times the things that are not yet done, saying, My counsel shall stand, and I will do all my pleasure: THURSDAY.-Jer. xxxii. 19.-Great in counsel, and mighty in work: for thine eyes are open upon all the ways of the sons of men, to give every one according to his ways, and according to the fruit of his doings:

FRIDAY.-Acts iv. 28.-For to do whatsoever thy hand and thy counsel determined before to be done.

SATURDAY.-Eph. i. 11.-In whom also we have obtained an inheritance, being predestinated according to the purpose of him who worketh all things after the counsel of his own will:

MONDAY.-Gen. i. 1.-In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.

LESSON VIII.

MONDAY.-Ps. ciii. 20.-Bless the Lord, ye his angels, that excel in strength, that do his commandments, hearkening unto the voice of his word.

TUESDAY.-Ps. civ. 4.-Who maketh his angels spirits; his ministers a flaming fire:

WEDNESDAY.-Ps. xci. 11.-For he shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee in all thy ways.

THURSDAY.-Dan. vi. 22.-My God hath sent his angel, and hath shut the lions' mouths, that they have not hurt me: forasmuch as before him innocency was found in me; and also before thee, O king, have I done no hurt.

FRIDAY.-Mat. xiii. 39.-The enemy that sowed them is the devil; the harvest is the end of the world; and the reapers are the angels.

SATURDAY.-Heb. i. 14.-Are they not all ministering spirits, sent forth to minister for them who shall be heirs of salvation? SABBATH.-Mat. xviii. 10.—Take heed that ye despise not one of these little ones; for I say unto you, That in heaven their angels do always behold the face of my Father which is in heaven.
