The Last Hour.

First let all kneel in silence, and each pray privately for a short space.

¶ Then all rising up, the Reader shall say,

BRETHREN, be sober, be vigilant, because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour, whom resist stedfast in the faith.

There remaineth a rest to the people of God. Let us labour, therefore, to enter into that rest.

The end of all things is at hand, be ye therefore sober and watch unto prayer. The Almighty God grant to us a quiet night, and an end of toils. Amen.

Our help is in the name of the Lord,
Who hath made heaven and earth.
Blessed be the Name of the Lord,
Henceforth world without end.

Let us lift up our hearts and our hands,
Unto God, in the heavens.

Behold, as the eyes of servants look unto
