Never Too Old to Grow

Front Cover
AuthorHouse, 2004 M10 27 - 164 pages

This book is meant to inspire, inform and enlighten you through scriptures from the Bible, Kings James Version, famous quotes, one liners and short poems. The focus of this book is on everything positive. Such as, Psalms 118:8 is the center verse in the Bible, which says, It is better to trust in the LORD than to put confidence in man." This verse says something significant about God. He had to be in the center of it and should be the center of our lives. There are notable quotes such as, "Peace demands the united efforts of all of us", by Haile Selassie, and one liners like, there is absolutely nothing wrong with me; God doesnt make mistakes.

This is a little book of wisdom. It could be used as a reference book. It is formatted in alphabetical order with an index for easy access. Good, quick and easy reading. A book that you would read over and over again.

Page 95 - Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended : but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before, I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.
Page 47 - For our conversation is in heaven; from whence also we look for the Saviour, the Lord Jesus Christ; who shall change our vile body, that it may be fashioned like unto his glorious body, according to the working whereby he is able even to subdue all things unto himself.
Page 141 - This is a faithful saying, and these things I will that thou affirm constantly, that they which have believed in God might be careful to maintain good works.
Page 53 - If I shut up heaven that there be no rain, or if I command the locusts to devour the land, or if I send pestilence among my people; if my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.
Page 31 - For God speaketh once, yea twice, yet man perceiveth it not. In a dream, in a vision of the night, when deep sleep falleth upon men, in slumberings upon the bed; Then he openeth the ears of men, and sealeth their instruction, That he may withdraw man from his purpose, and hide pride from man.
Page 15 - Blessed be the Lord, that hath given rest unto his people Israel, according to all that he promised: there hath not failed one word of all his good promise, which he promised by the hand of Moses his servant.
