Ver. 35. Caft not away your confidence, which hath great recompenfe of reward.

1 John ii. 24. Let that abide in you, which ye have heard from the beginning. If that which ye have heard from the beginning fhall remain in you, ye fhall also continue in the Son, and in the Father.

Ver. 28. And now, little children, abide in him, that when he shall appear, we may have confidence, and not be ashamed before him at his coming.

2 John ver. 8. Look to yourselves, that we lofe not the things which we have wrought, but that we receive a full reward.

Ver. 9. Whofoever tranfgreffeth, and abideth not in the doctrine of Christ, hath not GOD: He that abideth in the doctrine of Chrift, he hath both the Father and the Son.

Rev. ii. 20. Be thou faithful unto death, and I will give thee a crown of life.

He that overcometh, shall inherit all things; and I will be his GOD, and he shall be my Son.

1. Of the ENLARGEMENT of the CHURCH, and the SPREADING of the GOSPEL and KINGDOM of CHRIST through the World.

i. 8. Afk of me, and I will thee

heathen for thine inheritance, and the uttermost parts of the earth for thy poffeffion.

Ver. 9. Thou shalt break them with a rod of iron; thou shalt dash them in pieces like a potter's veffel.

PS. xxii. 27. All the ends of the earth fhall remember, and turn unto the LORD; and all the kindreds of the nations, shall worship before him.

Ver. 28. For the kingdom is the LORD's, and he is the governor among the nations.

PS. Ixvii. 2. That thy way may be known upon earth, thy faving health among all nations,

Ver. 7. God fhall bless us, and all the ends of the earth fhall fear him.

Pf. lxviii. 31. Princes fhall come out of Egypt; Ethiopia fhall foon stretch out her hands unto GOD. Pf. lxxii. 8. He fhall have dominion from fea to fea, and from the river unto the ends of the earth.

Ver. 11. Yea, all kings shall fall down before him ; all nations fhall ferve him.

Ver. 17. His name fhall endure for ever; his name fhall be continued as long as the fun; and men fhall be blessed in him; all nations fhall call him blessed. Ver. 19. Let the whole earth be filled with his glory. Pf. lxxxvi. 9. All nations whom thou haft made fhall come and worship before thee, O LORD, and fhall glorify thy name.

Pf. cii. 15. The heathen shall fear the name of the LORD, and all the kings of the earth thy glory. Ver. 16. When the LORD fhall build up Zion, he fhall appear in his glory.

If. xxiii. 18. And her [Tyre's] merchandise and her hire, fhall be holinefs unto the LORD: It fhall not be treasured nor laid up; for her merchandise fhall be to them that dwell before the LORD, to eat fufficiently, and for durable cloathing.

If. xxvii. 6. He fhall cause them that come of Jacob, to take root; Ifrael fhall bloffom and bud, and fill the face of the world with fruit.

1. xl. 3. The voice of him that crieth in the wildernefs, Prepare ye the way of the LORD, make ftraight in the defert a highway for our GOD.

Ver. 4. Every valley fhall be exalted, and every mountain and hill fhall be brought low; and the crooked shall be made ftraight, and the rough places plain;
