I. xlix. 13. GOD hath comforted his people, and will have mercy upon his afflicted.

XXIII. DELIGHT and Joy in GOD.

Neb. viii. 10. The joy of the LORD is your ftrength.

Job xxii. 26. Then fhalt thou have thy delight in the Almighty, and shalt lift up thy face unto GOD. Pf. iv. 7. Thou haft put gladnefs in my heart, more than in the time that their corn and their wine increased. Pf. lxiii. 5.

My foul fhall be fatisfied as with marrow and fatnefs, and my mouth fhall praise thee with joyful lips.

Pf. lxiv. 1o. The righteous LORD, and fhall trust in him fhall glory.
