ANTHEM.

(Psalm lxxxiv. 1, 2, 4.)

Richardson.

Oh, how amiable are Thy dwellings: Thou

Lord of hosts.

My soul hath a desire and longing to enter into the courts of the Lord: my heart and my flesh rejoice in the living God.

Blessed are they that dwell in Thy house: they will alway be praising Thee. Hallelujah.

THE ELOI.

(Anthem for Good Friday.)

Michael Haydn and Dr. Harington.

At the ninth hour Jesus cried with a loud

voice, Eloi, Eloi, lama sabacthani ?-My God, my God, why hast Thou forsaken Me?

Father, into Thy hands I commend My spirit.

COMMUNION ANTHEM.

(Psalm xxvi.)

Chapple.

I will wash my hands in innocence, O Lord : and so will I go to Thine altar.

That I may show the voice of thanksgiving: and tell of all Thy wondrous works.

I will walk innocently: O deliver me and be merciful unto me.

I will praise the Lord in the congregation.

ANTHEM.

(Collect for the first Sunday after Trinity.)

Chapple.

O God, the strength of all them that put their trust in Thee, mercifully accept our prayers and because, through the weakness of our mortal nature, we can do no good thing without Thee, grant us the help of Thy grace, that in keeping Thy commandments we may please Thee both in will and deed, through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

ANTHEM.

(Collect for the Seventh Sunday after Trinity)

Rev. W. Mason.

Lord of all power and might; Thou that art the Author, Thou that art the Giver of all good things, graft in our hearts the love of Thy name; increase in us true religion; nourish us in all goodness, and of thy great mercy keep us in the same, through Jesus Christ, our Lord. Amen.
