upon the mentioning of his nawe. This effort of his pencil is of the most elevated cast. The Prince Regent, we understand, is in possession of this Picture.

PRINTS.

When five years old, full-length with the Princess of Wales. Painted by Mrs. Maria Cosway. Engraved by J. W, Reynolds.

Full-length. By Miss Jones. Engraved by Agar.

Full-length, with a Companion of Prince Leopold; as also three-quarters in quarto and octavo.

These engravings, from the spirited and correct portrait of Chalon's, are in high estimation. The circulation of three sets of plates, and of a fourth set engraving, sufficiently establish the likeness and merit. We are also glad to hear, that Mr. Ackerman is preparing a likeness, from this excellent artist, as a companion to that of his celebrated print of the Princess Amelia, with corresponding and appropriate allegory.

A Sketch, with a Companion of Prince Leopold, in quarto, from Mr. Hayter's Picture, in outline, has strong marks of character, and are reputed very good likenesses.

Head and Shoulders, finished engraving, by Wedgwood, from Mr. Hayter's Picture.

This is the only finished cotemporary engraving we have for an authorised likeness, and what will ever add a value to this print. Her Royal Highness was particularly pleased with it, and gave it to her friends in various shapes. In some instances she had enamelled miniatures made from it, as presents to her foreign friends.

List of Busts, Pictures, &c.

Head and Shoulders, Circular Print, as a Drawing, (with a Companion of Prince Leopold); from Mr. Dawe's picture. This Engraving to be regarded as the last memorandum we have of her Royal Highness. The dress chosen is a Russian costume, which her Royal Highness was very partial to.

A mezzotinto, three-quarters, from Mr. Dawe's picture, is also engraving by Mr. Maile; and to this is a Companion of Prince Leopold, by Mr. H. Dawe.

Mr.Dawe is also preparing for Publication a Print, which will include the Prince and Princess in a Box at the Theatre.

Of the Portrait which accompanies this work, the Editor is silent. Those who know the Princess best, will know how to appreciate its claim.

THE END.
