Which claims have been paid to the above-mentioned parties by John C. New, out of funds received by him from his predecessor in office, J. H. Vajen, but which are still claims against the State; and also received from the said John C. New the sum of two thousand and seventeen dollars and sixty cents (52,017 60) in cash.
