Shall know the greatness of thy power;
Stand in the temple of our God

As pillars, and go out no more."-Hymn 461.

Many waters cannot quench love, neither can the floods drown it: if a man would give all the substance of his house for love, it would utterly be contemned. -Sol. Songs viii. 7.

"This delight I fain would prove,
And then resign my breath:
Join the happy few whose love
Was mightier than death!

Let it not my Lord displease,

That I would die to be thy guest!

Jesus, Master, seal my peace,

And take me to thy breast!"-Hymn 167.

Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven. -Matthew v. 16.

My Safeguard, and my Tower,

Satan comes; I turn my face,

And, lo! the Tempter flies."

Keep my commandments and live; and my law as the apple of thine eye.— Prov. vii. 2.

No more thy goodness grieve,

The tender conscience, give.

O God my conscience make!

Awake my soul, when sin is nigh,

And keep it still awake."-Hymn 308.
