"O let us on thy fulness feed,

November 14th.

Hymn 507.

Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold all things are become new. -2 Cor. v. 17.

November 15th.

But now they desire a better country, that is an heavenly: wherefore God is not ashamed to be called their God: for he hath prepared for them a city.-Heb.

"Nothing on earth I call my own;
A stranger, to the world unknown,
I all their goods despise ;

I trample on their whole delight,
And seek a country out of sight,

November 16th.

Thou hast caused men to ride over our heads; we went through fire and through water but thou broughtest us out into a wealthy place.-Psalm lxvi. 12.

And teach me the new song to sing,

November 17th.

And thine ears shall hear a word behind thee, saying, This is the way, walk ye in it, when ye turn to the right hand, and when ye turn to the left.-Isa. xxx.

November 19th.

For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God.—Eph. ii. 8.

"I know the work is only thine,
The gift of faith is all divine;
But, if on thee, we call,

Thou wilt the benefit bestow,

And give us hearts to feel and know
That thou hast died for all."

November 20th.

Hymn 118.

Quenched the violence of fire, escaped the edge of the sword, out of weakness were made strong, waxed valiant in fight, turned to flight the armies of the aliens.Heb, xi. 34.

"What though a thousand hosts engage,
A thousand worlds, my soul to shake?
I have a shield shall quell their rage,
And drive the alien armies back;
Portray'd it bears a bleeding Lamb;
I dare believe in Jesu's name."

November 21st.

Thou hast ascended on high, thou hast led captivity captive: thou hast received gifts for men, yea, for the rebellious also, that the Lord God might dwell among them.—Psalm lxviii. 18.

"Ye all may freely take
The grace for Jesu's sake:
He for every man hath died :
He for all hath risen again :

Jesus now is glorified:

Gifts he hath receiv'd for men."

November 22nd.

Hymn 86.

Say unto them, As I live, saith the Lord God, I have no pleasure in the death of the wicked; but that the wicked turn from his way and live: turn ye, turn ye from your evil ways; for why will ye die O house of Israel.-Ezek. xxxiii. 11.

"Turn he cries, ye sinners, turn,
By his life your God hath sworn,
He would have you turn and live,
He would all the world receive.
