For the last heat the horses started rather before the expiration of
judge had not taken his place in the chair when they passed the post nur
to decide which won. The owner of Conceit at first objected to the dem
expressed himself satisfied with the judge's explanation, and claimed the winner
After the first heat for the Members' Plate the owner of Chepuse

the last heat of the Derby and Oaks Stakes, on the ground of the jun
chair; but all the stewards having left the course, nothing was the nose = 1
race, however, was ultimately awarded to Satyr.
