This truly important and national work was published at an immense expense by Government. The highly valuable charts (by the liberality of the Lords of the Treasury,) comprise the latest discoveries. The fine and delicate plates after Westall are executed by the first artists. The "Botanical Memoir," by the celebrated Mr. Brown, accompanied as it is by the incomparable plates after Bauer, is held by botanists as most important, and has alone sold for 21, 12s. 6d.
