TWENTY-FIRST ANNUAL MEETING.

The twenty-first annual meeting of the Livingston County Historical Society was held at the Log Cabin, in Geneseo, Tuesday, January 19th, 1897, at 1 o'clock P. M., President Charles Jones, presiding.

The following report of the Secretary and Treasurer was presented and read, and on motion the same was duly accepted and adopted:

REPORT OF SECRETARY AND TREASURER.

As Secretary of the Livingston County Historical Society, I attended a meeting of the Council on December 9th. The Council considered various matter in connection with the interests of the Society and recommended that the annual meetings of the Society hereafter occur on the second Tuesday of January, instead of the third.

I have no special communication to make to the Society, except to ask the members to make such contributions as they can of things of historic interest, local and otherwise, to the Society's collection, and especially to send to the Secretary what matter they can relating to town history. We have a repository of historical matter in the log cabin, constructed as the result of no little pains and expense. Every facility will be afforded for the preservation of matter sent to the Society for safe keeping and exhibition. Every
