Tabernacles for our Souls and the Holy Ghoft to dwell in; and then, if that which is earthly be fo glorious, how glorious fhall the Soul be, as it is written, The King's Daughter is all glorious within: Now we live by Faith, and fee darkly; but then Face to Face: Now we know in Part, but then we fhall know even as we are known: Now our Wills are ftubborn, and our Affections earthly; our Bowels of Compaffion are ftraitned, and our Souls narrow and felfifh, but then our Hearts fhall be enlarged and filled with all the Fulness of God, even with the Fulness of his Life, and with the Fulnefs of his Love: For then we fhall rejoice in the Happiness of others, as in our own Happiness; because then we fhall love others as we love our felves, and that is with the Love of God, who is Love, and dwells in Love.

As for me, fays the Pfalmift, I will behold thy Face in Righteousness, I shall be fatisfied when I awake with thy Likeness and Image, which is Love, even that perfect Love which cafteth out all fervile Fear, and is filled with all Joy and Glory, as when our bleffed Saviour prayed fo earneftly in our Behalf, faying, Father, I will that they John alfo whom thou hast given me may be with me where I am, 17. 24. that they may behold my Glory, which thou hast given me: for thou lovedft me before the Foundation of the World.

O give Thanks unto the Lord, for he is Good, for his Mercy endureth for ever: Let the redeemed of the Lord fay fo, whom he will redeem from the Hand of the Enemy, and will gather them out of the Seas, and out of the Lands from the Eaft, and from the Weft, from the North, and from the South.

Now what remains, but to long for that bleffed State, for which the whole Creation groaneth, and travaileth in Pain together until now; and only they,

but

but our felves alfo, which have the Firft-fruits of the Spirit; even we our felves groan within our felves, waiting for the Adoption, to wit, the Redemption of our Bodies, which flows from our Adoption, and is a Joy above all Joys; therefore the beloved Difciple cries out in Admiration, as if he wanted Words to exprefs the fame, Behold what manner of Love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the Sons of God! Therefore the World knoweth us not, because it knew him not. Beloved, we are now the Sons of God, and it doth not appear what we shall be: but we know that when he Shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall fee him as he is. For our Life is hid with Chrift in God, and when Chrift who is our Life fhall appear, then shall we alfo appear with him in Glory. Then fhall be brought to pafs the faying that is written, Death is fwallowed up in Victory; O Death, where is thy Sting? O Grave, where is thy Victory? The Sting of Death is Sin, and the Strength of Sin is the Law; (which aggravates our Guilt as Tranf greffors) but Thanks be to God, who giveth us the Victory through our Lord Jefus Chrift.

Therefore, my beloved Brethren, be ye ftedfaft, immoveable, alwife abounding in the Work of the Lord, forasmuch as you know that your Labour is not in vain in the Lord.

Having therefore thefe Promifes, (dearly beloved) let us cleanse our selves from all Filthiness of the Flesh and Spirit, perfecting Holiness in the Fear of the Lord.

Now the God of Peace, which brought again our Lord Jefus from the dead, that great Shepherd of the Sheep, through the Blood of the everlasting Covenant,

Make you perfect in every good Work to do his Will, working in you that which is well pleafing in hu Sight,. through Jefus Chrift; to whom be Glory for ever and ever. Amen.

Almighty God, the God of Abraham, Ifaac and Jacob, with whom the Spirits of juft Men live and reign for ever; Thou killeft, and makeft alive; Thou brings down to the Grave, and thou brings up again. We praife thy glorious Majesty, for all thy Mercies to Mankind, in Chrift Jefus, the great Shepherd and Bishop of our Souls, whom thou hast brought again from the dead, and by his Refurrection has begotten us again into a lively Hope, according to thy abundant Mercy, to an Inheritance incorruptible, and undefiled, and that fadeth not away, but is referved in Heaven for us.

Though thou was angry with us, thine Anger is turned away, and thou haft comforted us: Therefore we will not be afraid though we walk through the Valley of the Shadow of Death, and fleep a while in the Grave with our Friends and Forefathers, who are departed out of d out of this finful and miferable World; for thou wilt bring us again from the Depths of the Earth, as thou didst thy dear Son Fefus Chrift, who died for our Offences, and rofe again for our Juftification Therefore we will rejoice in the Lord our God, our Soul fhall be joyful in thy Name; we will Truff and not be afraid, for thou, O Lord Jehovah art our Strength and our Song, thou also art become our Hope and our Salvation.

Thy right Hand, O Lord, is exalted, thy right Hand doth valiantly: Now the Stone which the Builders rejected is become the head Stone of the Corner, the Joy of thy People Ifrael, and the Glory of all Chriftians.

Bleffed be he that cometh in the Name of the Lord to fave

Bleffed be thy Name, O Lord Jefus, our Lord, and our God, who by thy powerful Refurrection from the dead, as on this Day, has made good thy Promife, and declared thy felf to be the Son of God, and Savicar of the World Thon haft the Keys of Death and Fill, and leads both Captive in Triumph and Difarmed; Thou got up early this Day, to refresh our Hopes, and to redeem us out of the Hands of all our Enemies, that we may feek thee early, and may serve thee every Day in Holiness and Righteousness, without Fear of our Enemies.

Thou art the Refurrection and the Life, he that believeth in thee, though he were dead, yet fall he live; whosoever believeth on thee shall never die, or taste of the fecond Death.

Thou haft blotted out the Hand-writing of Ordinances was against us, which was contrary to us, taking it out of the Way, and nailing it to the Cross, that by Death thou might deftroy him that had the Power of Death, that is the Devil, who by Sin brought in Death into the World.

Hallelujah, Salvation, and Glory, and Honour, and Power unto the Lord our God, who hath delivered us, who through Fear of Death, and the Powers of Darkness, were all our Lifetime fubject unto Bondage.

Now thou hast brought to pass that faying that is written, Death, where is thy Sting? O Grave, where is thy Victory? The Sting of Death is Sin, and the Strength of Sin is the Law; which (hows and aggravates the Guilt of our Sin: But Thanks to thy Majefty, O Lord God Almighty, who giveth us the Victory through our Lord Jefus Chrift.

Therefore, O eternal God, and Holy Spirit, who raised up the Body of our Lord Jefus Chrift from the Grave, we befeech thy Majefty to quicken us with thy heavenly Graces, that we may feel the Power of Christ's Death killing Sin in us, and raifing us up into Newness of Life, that we may prefent our Bodies a living Sacrifice, Holy and Acceptable. unto God, which is our reasonable Service; that henceforth we may not be conformed to this evil World, but may be transformed by the renewing of our Minds, that we may understand, and approve what is that good and acceptable and perfect Will of God, who commandeth every one of us. who hath this Hope, to purify themselves, even as he is

Pure.

Strengthen and establish our Hearts, that we may continue ftedfast and immoveable in our most Holy Faith and Profeffion, alwife abounding in the Work of the Lord, and Looking for that bleffed Hope, and glorious Appearing of the great God, and our Saviour Jefus Christ, who shall change our vile Bodies, that they may be fashioned like unto his glorious Body. Amen. Our Father which art in Heaven, &c.
