THE SOCIETY'S WHOLE FUNDS are INVESTED in HERITABLE SECURITIES ONLY, nine-tenths of the Loans on which Advances have been made being secured on property situated in the city of Edinburgh; thus affording to Depositors all the advantages and security of bonds over heritable property, without any of the attendant expenses, risk, or trouble, and with the additional advantage of withdrawing money on short notice, if required. LOAN BRANCH. SUMS, varying in amount from £100 to £10,000, are advanced by the Society for any period of years not exceeding twenty-five, the sum borrowed being liquidated by an Annual Rent-Charge, which includes both principal and interest.
