[The portrait of Jonson is Vaughan's well-known engraving, and has done yeoman service, as it was probably first issued as a separate print, and afterwards to ornament this volume and the collected works of the same date. It is generally believed that the volume is complete without the portrait, which was utilized in many instances as an embellishment.]
