ited his account current with the State of Michigan, and the same having been compared by the Board with the books of the Auditor General, we find that during the fiscal year ending the 30th day of November, 1870, the State Treasurer has received into the Treasury, including the balance on hand Nov. 30, 1869, of eight hundred and thirty-four thousand eighty-nine and 72-100ths dollars ($834,089 72), the sum of two millions five hundred and fifty-two thousand six hundred and thirteen and 44-100th dollars ($2,552,613 44), and that he has disbursed the sum of two millions ninety-four thousand three hundred and five and 47-100th dollars ($2,094,305 47); showing a balance in the treasury of four hundred and fiftyeight thousand three hundred and seven and 97-100th dollars ($458,307 97), for which balance he exhibited duly accredited vouchers and certificates.

CLAIM OF SAMUEL CHADWICK.

July 6, 1871.

This was a claim for fifty dollars ($50), for the support of men while enlisting for the war of 1861. It appears that this claim has been before the Military Board for allowance, and by that Board rejected. The Board of Auditors, after considering the claim fully, unanimously came to the conclusion that it was not of a nature to come before them for adjustment. The account, with the accompanying vouchers, was therefore returned to claimant without any indorsement thereon by this Board.

CLAIM OF WM. H. HAZE.

August 31, 1871.

On this day the Board of State Auditors executed and delivered to William H. Haze, a deed conveying to him the south twenty-two (22) feet off of lot number one (1), of block number eighty-three (83), in the city of Lansing, agreeably to the provisions of Joint Resolution number eight (8) of the Legislature of eighteen hundred and sixty-nine.
