Dobell, £14 10s. [There is another collection of "One Hundred Views in England and Wales," by John Boydell. It was published in 1770, folio, and is worth from £6 to £7. John Boydell was a pupil of Thoms, the engraver inter alia of a view of Hawarden Castle. His first work is known as the "Bridge Book," a set of six etchings, each of which contains the figure of a Bridge. These are rarely met with. Boydell is better known as a publisher than as an engraver, but he did some good work in the latter capacity.-ED.] 415 Boyle (Hon. R.)
