First complete Edition of Livy, and among the very rarest of First Editions. It was published e Cod. Antiq. Langobardicis litteris scripto, and carefully revised and collated by Carbachius with the

printed editions, from which he found it

to vary in two thousand places. The Preface of Erasmus is also curious, as,

though a Dutchman, he claims for Mayence the honour of the invention of Printing. Neither Dibdin or Moss mention the sale of a single copy and the latter says of it "It is extremely rare and valuable and infinitely superior to all those editions which preceded it."

This appears to be the Triplicitie of Triumphes, with a new Title Page. It is a very curious volume, interspersed with Poetry.
