N. B. When the Indenture is given for TAX-LABOUR, the Cheque alone must be delivered to the Subfcriber, and the Officers of the Hundred-Bank muft, with all convenient fpeed, deliver the Indenture to the Trustees of the Public Exchequer, or to fuch perfons as they shall appoint to receive Indentures or Cafh on the public accompt: but, when the Indenture is demanded by the Subfcriber himself, in order to obtain' Credit by it, as Cash, for his own emolument, both the Indenture and its cheque must be delivered to him. In the latter cafe, the Subfcriber may obtain a refpite, or delay, of the Contract-Service by paying Intereft for the time poftponed, with an adequate infurance for the Rifque of Life by the delay: and, if fo, he muft carry the Indenture to the Exchequer to have the time of Delay endorfed upon it, before it is feparated from the cheque.
