publication of this FIFTH VOLUME, may be proper to account to our Readers, by stating, that the exorbitant price of printing-paper at the beginning of this year would have rendered it impoffible to have defrayed the expenses of publication without increasing the price of the book. It was, therefore, confidered as a preferable measure, to wait for more favourable circumstances, and then to deliver the Work to the Public at the price of the former volume.
