[A very interesting Codex of Gower's "Confessio Amantis." The miniatures are very valuable for the costume and armour and domestic habits of the period. A rubric on folio iii. reads, "Anno domini millesimo CCCmo novagesimo quia tuc erat ecclia divisa," indicating the MS. was written after that date.
